International classroom observation and remote coaching specialists ONVU Learning have been nominated as finalists in the ‘Innovation of the Year’ category for the IDA Awards. The awards recognise outstanding and innovative contributions to the Education and Training sector in India.
ONVU Learning brings together decades of expertise in video capture and teacher coaching with a deep understanding of the needs of schools and teachers. It partners with schools around the world to help them improve teaching and learning, develop teachers and drive forward school improvement. You can see evidence here of its work with The Doon School in Dehradun to remotely coach experienced teachers to enable them to continue to improve their own lessons.
Other partner schools include The British School, New Delhi and The Mahatma Gandhi International School, Ahmedabad in India and Aston University Engineering Academy and The Hereford Academy in the UK.
The IDA Awards will be announced on the 25th September at The Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.
You can find out more about ONVU Learning by visiting stand E3 in the UK Pavilion at DIDAC 2019, watching our ‘DIDAC Talk’ on DIDAC’s YouTube channel, or reading our detailed case studies and guide to lesson observation here.
We’ll leave the last word to Mr Matthew Raggett, Headmaster of The Doon School.
“The wonderful thing about ONVU Learning’s Lessonvu is that teachers have complete control… It’s been wonderful for our guys to have a direct relationship with a coach… before sharing things with me so they can help articulate what they have learnt from it.”
